Health, Vision/Dental and Life Insurance
Tri-County pays a portion of the premium
for health insurance and pays 100% of the premium costs
for vision and dental insurance for the employee. Optional family and
dependant coverage’s are available through payroll deduction. Coverage
begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
Cash Option in Lieu
of Insurance
If proper documentation is submitted verifying health insurance coverage
through another source, one half the dollar amount normally paid for
health insurance coverage will be received as a taxed cash option.
Retirement Plan
After plan entry requirements are met,
Tri-County will begin making contributions to its pension plan equal to
7% of the employees pan year gross wages. Vesting begins after 2 years
or entering the plan with full vesting at 6 years.
401K Through voluntary payroll deduction,
employees are
eligible to
participate in a 401K plan for before tax savings.
Employee Assistance Program
Employees and members of their household
may participate in an Employee Assistance Program, providing
confidential counseling and referral services for personal, financial,
family difficulties… at no cost.
Unemployment
Tri-County participates with MESC in regard to unemployment
benefits for qualified employees who meet MESC requirements.
Training and Continuing Education
Training and tuition
reimbursement is available to Tri-County employees. Full information
is available through the Education Services Administrator.
Holidays and Leave Time
Program Year employees receive leave hours
per policy. Paid time off (as long as requirements are met) include
federal/recognized national holidays, spring and winter breaks.
Full year employees receive leave hours per policy and vacation time
determined by longevity.
