Tri-County Head Start assists families
with obtaining health screenings for their children by providing
onsite hearing clinics by the local health departments, onsite dental
clinics by local dentists and onsite vision clinics by local
optometrists. In addition, the agency participates in the VSP, Sight
for Students Program which provides qualifying children with a vision
exam and glasses. Transportation is available, as well, for medical,
dental and special education (intermediate school district)
appointments.
